Homemade Citrus Deodorant

This deodorant has a fresh citrus scent that is suitable for anyone.
You can also make up this recipe with the oils of your choice - lavender, sandalwood, cedarwood, melaleuca, geranium and patchouli are all good options for this recipe.

3 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp shea butter
2 tbsp baking soda
2 tbsp arrowroot powder
2 drops lemongrass ssential oil
2 drops melaleuca (tea tree oil)
1 drop lime essential oil
3 drops bergamot essential oil

1. melt the coconut oil with the shea butter to combine (may be done stovetop with a double boiler or in the microwave in a glass bowl.

2. add the essential oils to the melted coconut - shea butter mixture

3. add in the dry ingredients and mix well

4. pour into a mason jar or let harden then pack into a deodorant stick.

Note. If you would like for this recipe to go in a deodorant stick and not melt so easily, you can also add 1 tsp beeswax pellets to the recipe, however I prefer to leave them out as I think they are a little clogging for my pores.
